Inspired by visits to the local public library with her son Matthew and her two nieces, Sidney and Ashley, Ana Cristina Berard attempted to capture the innocence of childhood in this whimsical story. She has a background in childhood development and pharmacy. Ms. Berard lives in Rhode Island with her husband, son and their two dogs, Martino and Abraham.
